How to set your MacOS password less than 4 characters

I don’t want a secure password for my desktop. Instead, I use just two letters for quick typing. I can change the password in the terminal by running:

passwd

But terminal said: Failed global policy "com.apple.defaultpasswordpolicy" Password change failed because password does not meet minimum quality requirements

So, what do we do? Here is the solution.

Open your Terminal and write this

sudo su

Now, input your password, then write this

pwpolicy getaccountpolicies

and,

pwpolicy clearaccountpolicies

directly you can change the pass to less than four characters.

passwd

Enter your password.
